I’m not the best to answer something like this, but it would help those that can if you stated your budget, what you want to take pictures of, and what the other lenses that you already have are.

given all the options you’ve written I’ll make this suggestion.
A Rebel XS (1000D) is an excellent choice. I own one and am really enjoying it.

You should try a Fujifilm these cameras are excellent for the experienced or beginner photographer. They are easy to use and have excellent on- screen features.

Actually the Powershot A430, Casio EXFH 20, and Panasonic dmc-fz7 are not SLRs. Rather they are simply digital point and shoots with a long fixed lens. The EOS 750 is a SLR, but not a digital one.

Anyways, if you want to use your existing lenses then you’ll need a model that has the same mount:

F mount: Nikon and Fuji (d)SLRs.
EF mount: Most Canon (d)SLRs made since 1987*.
K mount: Pentax and numerous others.
Minolta AF / α mount: Minolta since 1985*. Now used by Sony for their dSLRs.
OM mount: Olympus film SLRs only**.

*Previously Canon and Minolta used different mounts called FD and SR, respectively. Neither of which are officially supported by any dSLRs.
** Their digital SLRs use a completely different lens mount. There is however an adapter to use the old lenses on the current bodies.
