I’m torn between a Canon EF-S 17-85mm IS USM lense vs. EF-S 28-135mm IS USM lense to go with my EOS 50D, can somebody tell me which one should I pick? Need your help ASAP! Thanks..
All last summer I shot with the 17-85mm as it was the one my work supplied. Then I bought my own 30D and it came with the 28-135mm. Originally, I planned on selling the 28-135mm. However, once it came in the mail I quickly changed my mind. The 28-135mm was worlds ahead of the 17-85mm in shooting quality and "fun" of shooting.
The big downside of the 28-135mm is that you miss out on the wide end. In that case, I’d probably pair it with an 18-55mm IS which you can find for less than $150.

I need to find a linear polarizing filter for a Canon EOS 50D camera. It also has a macro lens MP-E 65mm. I am researching for my boss and am so lost. Any professional opinions? Please and Thank you!
You will probably want a circular polarizer as autofocus cameras don’t focus well with linear. Any camera store will sell them, you just need to know the lens filter size.
That being said, the MP-E 65mm is a MANUAL focus lens so a linear polarizer would work and it has a 58mm filter size. Buy a good one like Hoya brand.

What is the best panoramic lense for Canon EOS50D?? And what are we looking at in terms of prices? Any ideas or suggestions?
yes, for the 50D, the 10-22 is the best! But, I bought one for my 30D, and the last 4 DSLR’s I bought were Full Frame. So keep in mind you’ll want to upgrade! If you really, really like taking pictures! And the 10-22 EF-S won’t work then!
